A screenshot comes from ShareLaTeX web site
Sometime ago I wrote that I was amazed when I found out that Nuget supports C++. Today, I was amazed even more, when I discovered ShareLaTeX web site. This site is simply great and I don't know how I've been living without it for such a long time.
The idea is easy. Instead of installing MiKTex or other implementation of TeX/LaTeX locally do everything online. Initially, I was sceptical. I doubt if this site will be easy in use, if it has all required features etc. However, I changed my mind within seconds. Here is why I love ShareLaTeX now and why you'll love it:
- In order to import an existing project into ShareLaTeX is is enough to upload a zip file with all required files and that is all. It took me 10 seconds.
- ShareLaTeX provides an online preview of your work. Just one click and you can see how PDF with your work will look like.
- Syntax highlighting is also available.
- Uploading images is also trivial, just drag and drop.
- You don't have to install any packages manually.
- At any time you can download a zip file with the entire project.
- At any time you can download a generated PDF file.
- You can share the project with others.
- If you don't want to start from the scratch you can use one of many templates for example to create a CV in LaTeX.
- ...
Disclaimer
If you start using ShareLaTeX after my recommendation I may get some additional stuff. So if you are interested I'll appreciate if you use one the links in this post.

Thanks for the pointer to what looks like a fab project. It might come in handy for me as I sometimes have to do one off LaTeX/pdf work.
